He was schooled at the University of the Philippines earning the degrees B.A.Economics (cum laude); M.A.Public Administration; Dip. LandUse Planning and is a candidate for M.A.Urban&Regional Planning. He is the youngest to have ever been licensed as a real estate consultant, the highest most specialized service level in the Philippines and has served as an Examiner for the real estate consultancy licensure examinations in 2007.
Finding a vacuum in formal education in real estate in the Philippines, he initiated in 2002 the creation of the post-baccalaureate program Real Estate Management at DeLa Salle University-CSB where he earned diplomas in Property Management; Franchise & Retail Management; and Real Estate Management.

Bobby has on several occasions presented property market updates for the Philippines which include speaking at the 2008 conference of the Institute of Estate Agents at HDB Hub in Singapore; at the 4th FIABCI Asia Pacific Summit at One World Hotel, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia in 2007; at the 58TH FIABCI World Congress at Paseo del Congreso, Barcelona, Spain in 2007; and at the 2005 annual convention of the Malaysian Institue of Estate Agents at Hotel Nikko Kuala Lumpur, among others.
He has served as President of FIABCI Philippines in 2006-2007 hosting the 3rd FIABCI ASIA PACIFIC Regional Secretariat Summit in Manila.
He has also served as President of PAREB - Philippine Association of REALTORS Boards in 2005, the largest and oldest realty service organization in the Philippines; IPREC - Institute of Philippine Real Estate Consultants in 2004; and PARA - Philippine Association of Realty Appraisers in 2003 while serving as Secretary General of the CREBA Social Housing Foundation.
A Fellow of the Upsilon Sigma Phi, he has served as Vice-President of the Anvil Business Club and of the Bulacan Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry. He has also served as National Director in 2010 of CREBA – Chamber of Real Estate Builder’s Association and is anactive member of OSHDP - Organization of Socialized Housing Developers of the Philippines.
