INDUCTION OF FIABCI-PHILIPPINES 2006-2007 BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The leadership sought to make the year 2006-2007 a banner year for the Philippine Chapter of the International Real Estate Federation, otherwise known as FIABCI-PHILIPPINES, as it sought to put a limelight to Philippine real estate.

HOSTING THE 3RD FIABCI ASIA-PACIFIC SUMMIT
On November 10 - 12, 2006, FIABCI-PHILIPPINES brought Philippine real estate to center stage as it successfully made a bid to host the 3rd FIABCI ASIA PACIFIC REGIONAL SECRETARIAT SUMMIT which welcomed 62 international members across 12 countries, including two (2) FIABCI World Presidents Mr. John Greig and Dato Alan Tong Kok Mau, excluding from the count their accompanying spouses and the secretariat personnel.
Keeping in mind the aim of showcasing Philippine real estate and the best of Philippine culture and cuisine, the tourism activities hosted by FIABCI-Philippines included golf at Tagaytay Highlands; a project tour of Tagaytay Highlands from the lowland residential projects up to the midland residential projects and finally to the highlands projects including entry to the President’s Log Cabin at the Highlands; another day of golf at Ayala Greenfield Estates; dinner at the Highlands Steakhouse at the SM Mall of Asia; a day trip to the island of Cebu for an ocular inspection of the Mactan Shangri-la facilities for a possible APREC or World Congress; lunch at the Mimosa Golf Clubhouse at Clark, Pampanga; a buffet dinner at Shangri-la Makati’s Circles Café; a day tour of Metro Manila’s planned unit developments (PUDs); a Filipino welcome dinner reception highlighted by a cultural dance presentation at the Manila Polo Club; a windshield tour of the Fort Bonifacio Global City, the Ortigas Business District and the Rockwell Center with Arch. Jun Palafox as resource person, en route to and from Eastwood City which presented its flagship project to the delegates for possible foreign investment; a shopping tour at the Greenhills Shopping Center, Tiendesitas, SM Megamall and the SM Mall of Asia; and a buffet dinner at Sofitel’s Spirals Café.
